Residential Schematic

The below Illustration demonstrates the installation of the pumping system for a typical artesian well.

Two different pump control systems are shown.

First, is a standard installation, with a typical 20 gallon pressure tank and a control box. The second is a constant pressure system with a variable frequency drive pump controller and  a small 5 gallon stainless steel reservoir.

In the diagram below, the slide adapter is connected to a pipe that passes under the foundation of the house and joins to the reservoir in either the constant pressure or standard system. Alternatively the foundation can be core drilled in 2” to 3” and sealed around the pipe with hydraulic cement or link seals.
